At IBK Tropic we create, manufacture and sell ice cream and pastry related goods all over the globe to satisfy our customers’ needs. IBK TROPIC, S.A. is a European company based in Barcelona and founded in 1983. Our dynamic team is well trained, with a strong customer focus, and experienced in the ice cream industry.

We have several fresh fruitshell factories located in India and Ecuador. The shells are individually selected to meet strictest quality standards in terms of size, skin color and quality. Sizes and format are adjusted to match customer requirements.

We also have two factories in Europe dealing with toppings and decorations. Two production lines for chocolates, one of which is nut-free.

The ultimate objective of IBK Group is manufacturing the highest quality possible, according to the specifications for each case and the legislation that currently applies with respect for the environment, ensuring maximum satisfaction, trust and loyalty among all our customers and consumers. Certifications: RSIPAC, ISO, ENVIRONMENTAL and SEDEX.

The Coconut Shell, altready enjoys popularity as an ice cream container in the retail channel. In 2015,  IBK tropic relaunches the coconut Shell in the foodservice network.
